A well-established litigation defense practice in the East Bay is seeking a senior-level attorney with strong insurance coverage and litigation experience to join its team. The group offers a stable workflow, long-standing client relationships, and a highly collaborative environment. While the role can be performed primarily remotely, candidates should be able to come into the office as needed, including for initial training.
Position Summary:
The firm is looking for an attorney with 7+ years of experience in insurance coverage and related litigation. The ideal candidate will be confident managing complex files, communicating with clients, and working closely with partners on high-level strategy.
Minimum Requirements:
* 7-10 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience
* Strong familiarity with the California Code of Civil Procedure and applicable state and federal rules
* Advanced legal research skills, including proficiency with Westlaw
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with clients, opposing counsel, the court, and internal team members
